All admissions to BSc agriculture courses in Gujarat universities are made through BSc Agriculture Entrance Test included in GUJCET (Gujarat common entrance test). GUJCET is a state-level entrance exam held annually for candidates seeking admission to professional engineering and pharmacy courses. This exam is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) at many examination centres throughout the state.

GUJCET 2025 application form

Below are the complete details of how to fill and submit the application form

  • The application form is released through online mode only; no other mode is allowed for submission of the application form
  • Desirous applicants can register themselves for the online examination from 3rd January 2025
  • The applicant should be very careful while filling up the online application form as no modification facility will be provided by the concerned authority later on
  • Applicant must fill up all the personal and educational details and attach the required documents to the application form
  • Applicant should provide all the authentic details while filling up the online form, as any alteration in the details or minor spelling deviation in the name may lead to rejection of the application
  • Applicants must complete the application form process and submit it before the due date, as applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

Application fee:

  • The application fee for every candidate is Without Late Fee- Rs 300/-
  • The application fee for every candidate is With Late Fee- Rs 1550/-
  • Applicants will be able to submit their application fees online and offline mode.

GUJCET 2025 Exam pattern

The exam pattern comprises the mode of examination, the number of questions, duration, total marks etc. The detailed GUJCET exam pattern is as mentioned below:

  • Examination mode: GUJCET 2025 entrance exam will be held through offline(pen and paper-based) mode only
  • Language: The exam will be held in three languages, namely, English, Hindi and Gujarati
  • Questions: The question paper consists of 120 questions divided into three sections. Each section will carry 40 multiple choice questions (MCQ)
  • Duration: The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes, i.e. three hours
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology
  • Marking scheme: One mark will be allotted for each correct answer, while 1/4th mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

GUJCET 2025 syllabus

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2025) syllabus is based on the NCERT curriculum for class 10+2 science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology of Gujarat state board). Students are advised to download the GUJCET 2025 practice papers to know about the type and level of questions asked in the exam. Any changes in the syllabus will be notified to students along with the release of exam dates.

Counselling for BSc Agriculture Admission 2025

The admission committee for professional courses in Gujarat will start the counselling session for BSc agricultural admission in various agricultural colleges tentatively in June 2025. The admission committee generally conducts two rounds of counselling sessions.

Reservation policy for GUJCET Agriculture Exam 2025

To claim a category-wise seat reservation in the GUJCET-2025 Agricultural entrance test, the candidate must possess a reservation certificate. The candidates will have to produce the reservation certificate at the time of the counselling session. The reservation percentage for different categories of students is as follows:
