Yoga Session

Yoga and Fitness Club of GH Raisoni University Saikheda has organized a Yoga Session event for the students of university on 16 th March, 2024 at GHRU Saikheda Campus. In this event students understood the details of suryanamskar and its importance for good health. Students learnt the importance of mantras said at the start and end of the physical activity of suryanamaskars. Students then performed the suryanamskars while understanding the details of each step. These activities were meant to expose students to their current physical health and motivate them to improve it by working on it.

Industry Institute Interface Cell is established to provide closer links with industries. The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institute. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute. IIICs play a pivotal role in enhancing collaboration, skill development, and research between academia and industry, contributing to overall growth and innovation.

MIHAN Nagpur visit to interact with IT Industries

The Industry Institute Interface Cell (III C) organized an insightful event titled "Interaction with Industry" at the TCS Company Campus, Mihan Nagpur, on 14th March 2024. The event commenced at 11:00 am and welcomed distinguished visitors including Prof. Anju D. Naidu, Dean III C, and Dr. Samyak Parekar, Dean T & P. With a focus on fostering collaboration between academia and industry, the event aimed to explore common avenues of interaction, enhance the quality of technical education, establish Centers of Excellence, and facilitate convergence with industrial and research organizations through MOUs. It served as a platform to identify industry requirements and align educational initiatives accordingly, ensuring students are equipped with the skills necessary to meet the demands of the economy.

Contributing towards making G20 a Jan Bhagidari event

G.H Raisoni University's participation in Yuvamanthan Model G20 on 30th October 2023 marked an accomplishment.

The captivating topics for discussion were Digital Transformation, Human Rights, Economic Recovery and Income Inequality.

ONE STEP OF PROGRESSIVE EFFORT

Our versatile students actively participated in the 'Chandrayan Maha Quiz' which was organised by MyGov in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on 30th October 2023.

This activity blostered students to explore about Country's Lunar Mission and was also a fling to corroborate about Chandrayan - 3 mission and Space Science.

India's space exploration efforts has been unfolded by this successful event of Chandrayan Maha Quiz.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The Amrit Kalash Yatra, organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Saikheda Village, was conducted on October 27, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The event was attended by a total of 44 participants, including NSS volunteers and coordinating faculty members.

The seminar on "Excel and Advanced Excel," held on October 28, 2023, was a highly informative and engaging event organized under the banner of the L&D Cell. The seminar aimed to enhance the faculty members' proficiency in utilizing Excel for various academic and administrative tasks. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Amit Makode, an expert in Excel, and Mr. Parag Kosarkar, Director of Sapalogy Pvt Ltd. The event saw active participation from 42 faculty members from various departments.

The guest lecture for the newly admitted students of the first year BSc .Nursing & Paramedical Sciences was organized by Industry Institute Interaction Cell (III Cell)under the banner of School of nursing on topic “Morphology of blood cells” Peoples College of Paramedical Sciences and Research Centre Bhopal M.P.MLT Pathology more than 8 year Experiences.

This chapter Addresses the is Morphology of blood cells Supplied with Morphology Blood by the RBC ‘WBC & Platelets. Blood morphology adds greatly to the value of a routine blood count single procedure in the haematology laboratory. Hyper segmented neutrophils on the blood smear, spherocytosis are formed when there is a loss of part of the red blood cells.

A webinar titled “Career Opportunities in Cyber Security” was conducted on 27th Oct 2023, at GHRU Saikheda, in an offline mode for the B.sc, M.sc Students. Workshop started with warm welcome by Prof. Sujata Somkuwar Madam with brief introduction about the speaker Mr.Amol Rangari who is working as Cyber security expert at Cognizant Pune Maharastra. Mr.Amol Rangari sir are best youth motivational speaker and he delivered many lectures on cyber security. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sujata Somkuwar, Prof. Anju D Naidu (Dean III C) and Prof. Shivani K. Koche (III C Coordinator).

In recent times, there has been accumulating evidence about the ineffectiveness of the traditional way of teaching. In 21st century, Steiner highlighted the importance of faculty development to respond to advances in medical education and healthcare delivery, to continue to adapt to the growing responsibilities of faculty members, and to carry out more rigorous program evaluations. She also stressed that FDPs needed to expand their focus, consider different training methods and formats, and encourage new partnerships and collaborations.

All around, more than 3000 participants (500 farmers, 2300 students and 200 entrepreneurs) and stalls from different companies were there who joined in this fest. The crowd was mainly of composed by the farmers and school students who were very happy to have a healthy reciprocation in the field of Agriculture

One Day Workshop On Faculty Empowerment Program

Internal Quality Assurance Cell, GHRU Saikheda, MP, organized One Day Workshop on “Faculty Empowerment Program” on 4th December 2021 (Saturday) at 11 am to 4 pm., in Seminar Hall, GHRU, Saikheda, MP. Resource persons for the workshop was Ms. Sukhada Chaudhary, She is an entrepreneur and freelance digital marketer. Workshop was attended by approximately Thirty faculty members from various schools of Raisoni Group of Institutes such as School of Science, School of Management, School of Pharmacy, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Agriculture, School of Nursing and School of Science.

Workshop was commenced with the felicitation and introduction of the speakers by Prof. Lata Potey, IQAC Co-ordinator, School of Pharmacy, GH Raisoni University, Saikheda. It was scheduled into two sessions, in first session Ms. Sukhada Chaudhary Madam has given information about the profile creation, profile optimization, about the connection loop in Linkdin. Second session was about identification of target audience, target group, how to create the connections etc.

Workshop was ended with questions and answers and vote of thanks by Mr. Shrikant Thote Dean Academic.

Celebration of Shiv Jayanti at GHRU, Saikheda

Celebration of Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti at G H Raisoni University, Saikheda was done February 2020. A grand event was conducted on the eve of Shiv Jayanti Sohala. This event was conducted by Students Forum cell of GHRU, Saikheda. Student’s volunteers have taken many effort to make the event grand success. Students fabricated the Palkhi and decorated it fir the event. This program included Skit on Shivaji Maharaj, Lezim Dance, Dance, Lathi Kathi. Palkhi, Talvarbazi started from Bhoomiputra Cultural and sports Academy, Nagpur and entered in GHRU Campus where it was worshiped by Dr. Meena Rajesh, Vice Chancellor, GHRU & Renowned motivational speaker Dr. Sumant Tekade, Chief Guest Nagpur.

Students performed on Lezim in front of guest then Bhoomiputra Group performed Lathi kathi & Talwar Baji. Guest have overwhelmed by watching the program and appreciated during his inaugural speech. All the forum Incharge, Boys Hostel Students have taken many efforts for all activities under the guidance of Dr. Meena Rajesh, Vice Chancellor. She appreciated for the activities carried out under Forum in whole year during her inaugural speech.

Republic Day Celebrated at GHRU, Saikheda

G H Raisoni University, Saikheda celebrated 71st Republic Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony with high spirits of nationalism and patriotism. The tri-colour flag was hoisted by Dr. Meena Rajesh, Vice Chancellor, G H Raisoni University Saikheda, His inspiring speech was truly relevant and focused on the importance of this day and how our generation can contribute towards development and growth of our nation. He encouraged us to become great like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh, Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi and Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. A number of students sing song full of Patriotism. Some students also performed Patriotism dance. G.H. Raisoni University Registrar Mr. Shriram Joshi throw some light on the struggle for the freedom of India. The function came to an end with our National Anthem after that sweets were distributed among the students. All were happy and very excited on this aspious occasion. 26 January is very important to us because this day remind us of the sacrifices of those who gave up their lives for the freedom of India.

National Symposium

A two days National symposium entitled “An Approach to Pharmaceutical Insight through Interdisciplinary Research" was organized by School of Pharmacy, G H Raisoni University, Saikheda (M.P) in collaboration with APTI & Global Edu. Ltd. on 14th & 15th February 2020. The symposium was attended by approximately 250 participants across India. The event was inaugurated with gracious presence of Dr. Meena Rajesh Vice Chancellor, Mr. Shriram Joshi Registrar and Dr. Suhas Sakarkar, Dean School of pharmacy.

GHRU, Saikheda Organized “Science Exhibition – 2020”

School of Engineering and Technology, GHRU, Saikheda organized science Exhibition Competition-2020 on 29th January 2020 for the school students from different part of M.P & M.H. More than 200 students participated in this competition. The activity aims at providing a common platform to students to give shape to their innovations ideas and learn from each other’s experiences.

Event is inaugurated by chief guest Shri Vijay Chaure, MLA Sausar Constituency and Shri Punaram Bawistale, Block Congress President, Dr.Meena Rajesh,Vice Chancellor of GHRU, Dr.Sachin Karale Dean SOET and Mr.Shriram Joshi Registrar GHRU.

The science exhibition is our small offering to the nation. We believe that strides of science and technology alone, can liberate our motherland in the modern world and therefore we strive quietly to construct a scientific and creative attitude among young minds.

Exhibitors from Arvind Indo Public School Katol won the 1st prize, Exhibitor from Bright convent school Teegaon won the 2nd prize And Exhibitors form Govt. Higher secondary school Paradsinga won 3rd Prize.

The participating teams shared their creative ideas and solution to everyday challenges through their innovative working/non-working models, exhibits projects and presentation supported by reports, display and research finding.

It was heartening to notice that the students had been inspired to conceptualize and initiative their personal scientific journey through self-motivation and with a concern for sustainability and inclusivity.

The Organizing Committee Dr. Amantulla Mansuri and Prof. Pooja Lonare and other faculty member from SOET took efforts to make this event a grand success.

Industrial Visit To Nal Damayanti Sagar by GHRU, Saikheda Students

School of Engineering & Technology, G H Raisoni University, Saikheda, organized Educational Industrial Visit on 8th February 2020 to Nal Damayanti Sagar (Upper Wardha Dam) at Shimbhora village ,Tah-Morshi ,Dist Amravati (MH) for the students of B.Tech. & Diploma in Civil engineering. More than 30 students of B. Tech. and Diploma in Civil Engineering have taken the benefit from the Educational Industrial visit and learnt more about the Dam structure, operating radial gate systems opening of the dam, Hydrological parameter, Application in Irrigation system, losses, Dead storage of Dam, LBC, RBC,FRL ,Slipway ,and drinking water supplying system etc it’s Check to operating system by advance gate opening and lock by machinery system learn something new. In civil engineering point of view importance of dam structure with various applications, the required permission and valuable guidance to the students by was given by Er.Umesh Shinde sir, Er. G. Sane sir and Mr. Fande sir Canal operator of Nal Damayanti Sagar(Upper Wardha Dam) .

The world has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both Women's and society's thoughts about Women's equality and emancipation. International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Youth Fest- “KARWAAN 2020” celebrated by GHRU, Saikheda

G H Raisoni University celebrated its Annual Youth Fest “KARWAAN-2020” an Intercollegiate and collegiate Event amidst great zest. The program was inaugurated with the lighting of lamp by the Vice Chancellor of G H Raisoni University, Dr. Meena Rajesh, Mr. Shriram Joshi, Registrar, Dr. Kevin Gawali, Dr. Suhas Sakharkar, Prof. Abhijeet Jaiswal & Dr. Sanjay Kaduskar, HOD Sports Department, More than 1500 students from different Department in GHRU, were present and took an active participation in various cultural and sports activities.Various cultural activities like singing, Dance, rangoli, drama, Fashion Show, Personality Contest, Mehendi and sports activities like Volley Ball, Tug-of-War, Box Cricket, Treasure Hunt Boys Cricket, three legged race were organized during the fest.

Guest Lecture on “Self Discipline” at GHRU, Saikheda

The Department of Pharmacy, Adesh University, Bhatinda Punjab, organized a Guest Lecture on “Self Discipline” on 28th February 2019 at university Central seminar hall. The guest speaker was Dr. Suhas N. Sakarkar, Professor & Dean, School of Pharmacy, G. H. Raisoni University, Saikheda (M.P). The event started with invocation song followed by a welcome address by Prof. Sarbjeet Brar. The guest lecture was delivered with an energetic talk by Dr. Suhas N. Sakarkar. In his talk, he emphasized the importance of basic science & research in synergistic with self discipline. He motivated the students on - l Dream Big-choose the right pathway.
