GHRU Scholarship

The G H Raisoni University believes in the dissemination of learning and knowledge through its education system. In the pathway to ensure that the maximum numbers of candidates are able to be on the receiving end of holistic education, many programs are employed by us. The Scholarship falls into the same criteria.

The procedure, the norms and terms have been fabricated in the manner that the worthy students are able to receive the maximum benefits. So, we have the following categories:-

  • Merit - the student whose academic percentage is above 80% is liable to 20% scholarship of total fee amount. While, for the students whose percentage fall between the 70% and 80% category, the scholarship of total fee amount allowed is 10%.
  • Sports - for the sports scholarship, the students who are National level winner in sports competition are liable to a 20% scholarship of total fee amount. It’s a 10% scholarship of total fee amount available for the students who are the State level winner in the sports competition.
  • Cultural - A 20% scholarship of total fee amount is allowed for the students who are winners in the National level cultural competition. While, the scholarship of total fee amount is 10% for those who are winners in the state level cultural competition.
  • Physically disabled - the amount of scholarship is dependent on the decision of the committee, which in turn is based on the level of the physical disability.

Physically disabled The amount of scholarship shall be decided by the committee on the basis of level of physical disability.

The norms

There are some set norms and rules laid by the G H Raisoni University for the seamless execution of the scholarship program. They are listed in here:-

  • The final decision in this regard will be taken by committee.
  • The scholarship is applicable on the basis of the 12th percentage for those taking admission to the first year. The scholarship for the second and final year will be given when a student qualifies with at least 60% in the qualifying examination.
  • The policy remains valid for the next year only if the student clears all the examination in the very first attempt.
  • The scholarship is dependent on the yearly performance and it is reviewed on a yearly basis.
  • The scholarship is not given to the students/ parents in cash. It is adjusted with their yearly fees.
  • This scholarship cannot be clubbed with any other scheme
