Eligibility | Gate exam form

To be eligible for the GATE 2025 exam, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in technology or engineering or be in the final year of such a program. There is no limitation for any age for the GATE exam. To be accepted for the GATE 2025 application, applicants should meet the following suitability requirements:

• Hold a master's degree – science or mathematics or statistics or computer applications, or be in the final year -4-year integrated master's degree in engineering or technology, 5-year integrated M.Sc.or B.S.or M.S. master's degree program, or dual degree program in engineering or technology
• Hold a bachelor's degree from - a renowned university, or be in the final year program in engineering or technology (after 10+2 must be 4 years or 3 years after B.Sc. or diploma in engineering or technology), architecture (5 years), B.Sc. (Research) or B.S. (after 10+2-4 years), or an equivalent examination directed by professional societies accepted by UPSC/ MHRD/AICTE
• Final-year scholars must provide proof of passing their exams when attending GATE counseling 2025.

GATE 2025 Application Form

There is no limitation for any age for the GATE 2025 exam. Indian citizens, as well as applicants from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Singapore, and the Emirates, are eligible to apply.

To register for the GATE exam 2025, candidates must use the GOAPS to complete the virtual application form. The application form will be available from August 30, 2022, to September 24, 2022. To register, candidates must verify their mobile number and email address through OTP on the GOAPS website (gate.iitk.ac.in). Candidates should remember their GOAPS user ID & password to log in and fill out the application form, then complete the application fee to finalize the registration process.

To complete the GATE 2025 application process:

• Registration: Candidates need to register on the official GATE website and fill in the necessary details.
• Application form: Candidates have to fill in the online application form and upload the required documents.
• Payment of fees: Candidates have to pay the application fee through online modes such as credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.
• Admit card: Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website a few days before the examination.
• Examination: Candidates have to appear for the GATE 2025 examination on the specified date and time at the designated center.
• Result: The results of the GATE 2025 examination will be declared on the official website a few weeks after the examination.

The important dates to remember for the GATE 2025

• The GATE 2025 announcement pdf for the CBT will be released in August 2022. The exam will be conducted by IIT Kanpur.
• Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the GATE 2025 application form online at the gate.iitk.ac.in from August 30, 2022, to September 24, 2022. After this date, the application will not be acknowledged by the official.
• The GATE 2025 hall ticket will be issued by IIT Kanpur to all eligible candidates in the second week of Jan 2025.
• The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2025.
• The GATE 2025 result will be released by IIT Kanpur on March 17, 2025.

GATE 2025 admit card:

The GATE 2025 hall ticket will be out on January 8, 2025. To download the admit card, applicants must log in to the GATE 2025 website (gate.iitk.ac.in) using their enrollment ID/password.

Follow these 3 simple steps to download the GATE 2025 admit card:

• Go to the official GATE 2025 website (gate.iitk.ac.in).
• Enter your registered email ID/enrollment ID and password, and solve the arithmetic expression to log in.
• Admittance your GATE 2025 hall ticket, download it and print it out.
• Once the GATE 2025 Hall ticket is released, the test center cannot be altered and requests for a change of test center will not be accepted.

The GATE 2025 result

The GATE 2025 result will be announced on March 17, 2025, on the official GATE 2025 IIT Kanpur website (gate.iitk.ac.in). Candidates can check their results by logging in to GOAPS 2025 with their enrollment ID and password.

To check the GATE 2025 result and download the scorecard, follow these steps:

• Go to the direct link to the GATE 2025 result.
• Put your GATE 2025 registration ID or enrollment number, and date of birth in the req fields.
• Click on the submit Icon to see if you have qualified for the exam.
• If you have qualified, you can download your GATE scorecard, which will include your marks, overall scores, and All India Rank (AIR).
• Click on the download button to get your GATE 2025 result and scorecard.
