Careers
As an electrical engineer, you'll design, develop and test components, devices, systems
or equipment
that
use electricity as their source of power. Some of these components are capacitors,
diodes, resistors and
transistors.
Moreover, job opportunities are available for you at various stages of a project. You may
be involved
at
any stage of a project including the initial brief for a concept, the design and
development stage,
testing of prototypes and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or
system. Also,
you'll work in project teams with colleagues in other branches of engineering.
Further Studies
After completion of the graduation course, one can go for higher studies. A major benefit
of it is that
it provides the students a chance to gain expertise in their field of interest. Thus
making better and
more prestigious job opportunities available for them. They can go for a postgraduate
M.Tech course in
their preferred engineering specialization. Moreover one can also opt for an MBA course
or specific
postgraduate diploma courses.
