G H Raisoni University, School of Pharmacy B.Pharm 3rd year 5th Semester Students visited the Mylan Laboratories & Indian Genomix P. Ltd for an informal educational industrial visit, as per the curriculum requirement on dated 06/11/2019 to 08/11/11/2019(3 Days). Dean Dr. Suhas N. Sakarkar, Dr. Rupesh Dudhe, Dr. Anshu Dudhe & Prof. Lalchand D. Devhare, School of pharmacy, engaged the students in an interactive tour while discussing Research & Development facilities like Mylan Laboratories Hydrabad & Manifacturing & Research Development Facilities like Indian Genomix P. Ltd . Hyderabad is home to one of Mylan’s two global R & D centers of excellence.

The staff of the Mylan Laboratories Research & Development department provided all the students and faculty members complete essential information about the Mylan Laboratories. They made two groups of 20-20 students in which 40 B.Pharm Student to make the learning continent. Student visited Capsule, tablet, parenteral, Ointment etc. all the departments one by one including 1st floor till 4th floors. The specialty of the Mylan Laboratories is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). APIs are the part of pharmaceuticals that produce the medication’s intended effect.
Research & Development Department provides the facility of Laboratories which followed by studying Capsule , Tablet & Injectable filling machine, sealing machine (Compression, Dissolution, disintegration etc), Analytical laboratories (IR, NMR, HPLC, UV, FTIR..etc), .
All the faculties and students fill emphasized by the Mylan Laboratories visit.

Indian Genomix Pvt Limited is a pharmaceutical formulation Unit located in the industrial area of Plot. no.135, Phase-II, IDA Cherlapally, Hyderabad-51. The company manager Mr. M. Anil Kumar gave knowledge about Indian Genomix Pvt. Ltd. The company is manufacturing and marketing the said pharmaceutical formulations.
Indian Genomix Private Limited has professionally qualified team force which has established its manufacturing facility as per W.H.O.G.M.P. and is looking forward into establishing of an R & D center to its capacity Indian Genomix Private Limited is manufacturing and marketing of Pharmaceutical formulations such as Powders, Tablets / Boluses, Liquid Orals & Ointments.
Mainly for veterinary and also engaged in job work for national and multinational companies like Wockhard, Hoest, Intervet, Pravagro, Novartis etc.
SECTIONS: Indian Genomix Pvt. Limited is having the manufacturing facility of tablets, boluses, dry powders, ointments and liquid orals.
TABLETS - BOLUSES: The capacities are based on three hundred days of working in eight hours shift in year. The unit is having aim manufacturing facilities of one crore tablets per anum and fifty lakhs bolus per year.
DRY POWDERS: The unit can manufacture five thousand kg per month of dry powders with hundred grams.
OINTMENTS : The unit is having the facility of three thousand kgs of ointment with packing of 100gms Tubes.
LIQUID ORALS: The unit is having the capacity of 2500 lt of batch size which will be filled in 100 ml, 500ml and 1 lt. The unit is designed mainly for high volume as majority of the products are for veterinary use domestic and export market for national and multinational companies.
