Recently, the IIT programme in Robotics and IIT Delhi programme for training the students in Drone technology has been incorporated in the curriculum; Collaborations with many industry partners like Brain-O-Vison, Ap-Tech Technologies Pvt. Ltd, KITS, Akola, CNC Web world are among few industry partners who are working jointly with the faculties, delivering lectures, and conducting projects in the related domain of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The department takes proactive and timely decisions to help students. Certification courses on Applied Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT) etc. will be offered to the outgoing students of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering.

Eligibility

Candidates should have passed their Higher Secondary Certificate or (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board to get admission in this course with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. In their secondary education with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects like Computer Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Biology.

Admission Procedure

Applicants for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering will have to go through the following process:

  • Submission of completed application form with all relevant enclosures and application fee
  • Review of applications and short-listing of candidates
  • Admission decision taken by the selection committee.
The pattern of Course & Syllabus

B.Tech. Computer Science course is divided into 4 years, 8 semesters i.e. 2 semesters each year. This course is designed in a way to inculcate programming and language skills related to computers. Apart from the core course, the students have to study additional language or concurrent course which instills an extra-curricular learning edge into them.
