National Symposium

A two days National symposium entitled “An Approach to Pharmaceutical Insight through Interdisciplinary Research" was organized by School of Pharmacy, G H Raisoni University, Saikheda (M.P) in collaboration with APTI & Global Edu. Ltd. on 14th & 15th February 2020. The symposium was attended by approximately 250 participants across India. The event was inaugurated with gracious presence of Dr. Meena Rajesh Vice Chancellor, Mr. Shriram Joshi Registrar and Dr. Suhas Sakarkar, Dean School of pharmacy. Dr. Suhas Sakarkar addressed the participants, highlighted the activities & introduced the theme of National Symposium. Dr. Meena Rajesh, Vice Chancellor delivered an inaugural address in the first session. The chief guests for first day were Dr. Anil Pethe, Dean, NMIMS, Hyderabad and Dr. Abhijeet Deshmukh, Global head, Mylan Laboratories Hyderabad.

In the post lunch session, National Level quiz competition was organized with overwhelming response from students of various institutes.

On second day i.e. 15th February, The chief guest was Dr. P.G. Yeole, Vice- Chancellor, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He released abstract book of this event. Also, he addressed the pharma people with his valuable words. Around one thirty papers which were accepted for presentation by peer review, were presented at parallel sessions throughout the day. The presentations were based on themes including life sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Agriculture, Anatomy, Genetics, Zoology, related areas Engineering & Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Computer software and applications. All the sessions were followed by lively interactions. On same day, a working model competition was organized related to theme of conference. Eighty attractive working models (Tablet punching, Capsule filling, Injectable, different body system, advance drug technology) presented on this day. The Valedictory address was offered by Dr. Prafulla Sable, CoE, and Dr. Rajendra Kakde, Professor, RTMNU, Nagpur.

On this occasion, Teaching, Non-teaching, Students from various colleges were present and made this event memorable. The certificates, prize distribution were made to all participants & winner of competition.
