The GHRU, Saikheda provides B.Tech in Data Science to undergraduates, it takes four years to complete and provide students an insight into the ways, means and utilization of data science in today’s world. This program is designed specifically to provide students with an overview of how data analytics, AI and machine learning aid a programmer in the aspect of transforming raw data information into meaningful information.
The use of data is also emphasized in this course as are allowed to use text data, numeric data, image data, video data or audio data. As the primary objectives of the chosen curriculum, both deep learning and machine learning are considered as key areas of exploration in order to equip students to develop AI solutions and tools ready for addressing practical problems.
In addition to elementary classes for data science, the programme contains the principles of data engineering which do not encompass the problem of data acquisition and its checking and optimized storage. The idea is that students will be provided with knowledge on the proper structuring of work processes containing massive inputs which will help avoid fatal mistakes and enable proper decision making taking into account larger business scenarios.
