B. Tech. in electronics and Telecommunication is a four year degree course. M. Tech. Courses are 2 year specialization post graduate courses. The highest degree offered by department of electronics and Telecommunication is Ph.D. degree.

Mechanical Engineering is a professional program which helps students to understand the working mechanisms of heavy tools and machineries. The branch applies principles of engineering, physics and material science for the design, analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. The course covers technical areas like distribution of electricity through generators, transformers, transmission lines, lighting and wiring in buildings. A course in mechanical engineering makes a student gain knowledge and experience in the designing of electric motors, automobiles, aircrafts and other heavy vehicles. Mechanical engineering demands knowledge about software used in technical work like computer-aided design and mathematical modeling.
CAD/CAM is a specialization in operation, use and application of computer software to create design for a variety of industries. It is aimed at building drafting skills in electronic structures. M. Tech in CAD/CAM imparts, through a holistic curriculum, skills to apply computer and scientific principles to solve problems related to manufacturing.
Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate course involving advanced level-concepts of energy efficiency, renewable energy & environmental preservation, and their entwinement with classical energy technologies and recently discovered technologies.
Smart Manufacturing involves a challenging mix of courses and projects in materials, processes, digital manufacturing, design methodology, CAD, PLM, sensors, mechatronics, AI, analytics, machine learning, operations management, etc. to train students in the technology behind advanced manufacturing at various scales of systems (process, machines, factories, enterprises) and production, as well as in innovating new manufacturing processes and systems that blend the soft and the hard skills to solve problems related to manufacturing industry.
Industrial Engineering has evolved as a major engineering and management discipline, the effective utilization of which has contributed to our increased standard of living through increased productivity, quality of work and quality of services, and improvements in the working environments with rich hardware and software resources and collaborative projects with the academia and industries.
