“Huge Response To “Raisoni Cyclothon” organized by GHRU, Amravati”

The “Cyclothon” was organized by G H Raisoni University to create awareness among people about environmental conservation and health received overwhelming response from the citizens of Amravati. From children to elderly people, all took part in the event with utmost zeal and enthusiasm to not only create awareness among people but show their dedication towards the conservation of environment and importance of fitness. Participants arrived with banners and posters at the event which was organized under the able guidance of Chairman of Raisoni Group Sunil Raisoni, Secretary Nitin Tatia and the traffic police department. The excitement level was at its peak among the nature lover enthusiasts of the city. 

The rally begun from Amravati District Sport Stadium at 6 a.m. However, participants arrived at the spot much earlier around 5 a.m. After on the spot registration the rally was flagged off by Amravati City Police Commissioner Dattatreya Mandlik, Pro-vice Chancellor of Amravati University Rajesh Jaipurkar, Principal of G H Raisoni College of Engineering Dr. Vijay Rathod, senior social activist Govind Kasat by showing the green flag and releasing balloons. Dr. Pallavi Mandaogade, Director G H Raisoni School of Commerce and Management, Prof. Nitin Mandaogade Vice-Principal G H Raisoni College of Engineering, cycling for heath and fun Dr. Kiran Dhawle, Sanjay Palve Patil, founder precedent Rashtradharma Jagruti Pratishthan,   Deepak Atram, Ankit Lunia owner Bike Studio, Sagar Wadnerkar, Chairman JCI and Gopal Rathi  were shared the dais. At the outset Mandlik hailed Raisoni University for organizing the event and said youngsters must participate in such events. He greeted all the participants on the occasion. 

Dr. Jaipurkar urged upon the need to minimize the use of vehicles to curb air pollution. He said reducing air pollution is must for good health. Prof Anand Deshpande, Prof. Aniket Patre and Prof. Amar More worked hard for the success of this event. Prof Snehil Jaiswal conducted the proceedings while Dr. Pallavi Mandavgade proposed a vote of thanks.
