The Film and Television Institute of India is designed for a new generation of storytellers: visual and performing artists who share a passion for motion pictures and want to learn by making their own projects in a hands-on, intensive program in Collaboration with FTII, G H Raisoni University has come up with the Short courses for FTII. On 7th January 2019 the University holds the inaugural Session of one of such course for Smartphone film making of FTII at ROC’s Studio.
The session commenced with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Wandana by the guest of Honor Shri. Ritesh Taksande ,Course Director , Dr. Sophia Ansari, Registrar,GHRU , Dr. Vinayak Shivankar, Director, School of Agriculture Science. Shri. Ritesh Taksande was then Felicitated with the Shawl , Shrifal and Memento by Dr. Sophia Ansari & Dr. vinayak Shivankar.
Dr. Sophia Ansari proposed welcome address to the FTII participants; she welcomed all the participants in the young university of ours, Prof. Sushil Girhe asked the guest to address the participants.
Shri.Ritesh Taksande sir articulated the journey of his career to participants. All the participants were motivated by his words.
The vote of thanks was then proposed by Dr. Vinayak Shivankar, The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sophia Ansari, Registrar, GHRU. The programme was then concluded by National Anthem and FTII course for Smart Phone film making begins. The Course will last till 17th January 2019.
